Description

OK, you are getting tired of these comet animations. But they are just so much fun, I could not resist doing one more. After all, it will be 50,000 years till it comes around again.

There are a couple of things slightly different this time.
1. This animation is three hours long (360, 30 sec. subs), not two.
2. The tail is getting more diffuse. If you look closely, you can still see it. Of course it's much more difficult to spot this close to the head of the comet.
3. The angle of the tail relative to the direction of movement is changing (of course). Just look at the earlier animations (https://www.astrobin.com/lqn60b/ Day 1 and https://www.astrobin.com/tv2mrt/ Day 2).
4. The comet is moving faster (again, of course) as it approaches the sun. You can see this my the elongation of the stars in the animation.
5. I use UTC as the time notation this time.

Enjoy.

Eric
